How outplacement works.

Outplacement with TopStack is designed to be simple for employers and effective for participants. Employers select the appropriate level of support, and we handle the rest—providing structured, human-led assistance throughout the transition.

For Employers: How It Works

1. Select the right mix of programs

Employers choose the appropriate outplacement programs—Core, Core Plus, or Fully Managed—based on the level of support each individual needs. Programs can be mixed and matched across teams or situations.

2. Purchase programs online

Programs can be purchased directly through our website with transparent pricing and no sales calls required. For larger or more complex needs, employers may also contact us directly.

3. Receive activation codes

Each purchased program includes a unique activation code. Employers receive one code per participant and manage distribution internally.

4. Share codes with participants

Activation codes can be distributed at any time. Employers decide when and how to share access with impacted employees.

5. Participants enroll and begin support

Participants redeem their activation code at [yourfuturecareerpage.com] (placeholder), which enrolls them in the selected program and initiates support.

6. Track engagement and progress

Employers can request reports showing activation status, engagement, and progress—particularly for longer, results-oriented programs like Core Plus and Fully Managed.

For Participants: What to Expect

1. Enroll using an activation code

Participants receive an activation code from their employer and redeem it at [yourfuturecareerpage.com] (placeholder), which enrolls them in the program selected for them.

2. Complete a brief onboarding

Participants answer a short set of questions to share background, goals, and preferences. This information is used to tailor support from the start.

3. Get matched with the right support

Based on the program level, participants are matched with a professional U.S.-based resume writer or dedicated U.S.-based personal recruiter.

4. Begin 1:1 support

Support is delivered directly and individually. Depending on the program, this may include document development, career guidance, or hands-on assistance throughout the transition.

5. Ongoing support and progress toward next steps

Participants receive continued 1:1 support aligned with their program level, with a focus on maintaining momentum and helping them move forward throughout the transition.
